Foothill Youth Basketball

About Us

FYB Information

A New Program, the Basics:

After a lot of discussion and input from many sources, last season, we decided to end our affiliation with the broader NJB program. We have listened to our community and decided to build a different experience for our kids, coaches, and parents. Our goal is that first and foremost FYB should be a teaching program - where every player improves during the course of our season, in their mastering of skills, ability and confidence.

We are working out the details of our separation with the broader NJB organization but intend to maintain a good relationship. We thank NJB, for we would not be here today without their vision of community based youth basketball for boys and girls.

We have a new name, Foothill Youth Basketball (FYB), reflecting the new direction of our program. We bring a renewed commitment our founding principles:

  • Bettering our community, providing opportunities to serve and give back
  • Fostering an environment that supports strong character growth for our kids
  • Developing talents and skills that build confidence in sports and life
  • Providing the highest level of competition possible
  • Commitment to the program for a safe, fun and rewarding experience
